Welcome to Moorhead Library’s inaugural Book Bracket Bonanza! Sixty-four titles will compete over the course of the month of March in a single-elimination tournament culminating in a single Champion title! The winning book will go on to become our May 2017 Book Club selection. We will then invite library patrons to pick up or request a copy of the book, read it, and join in the discussion led by library staff!
What’s in it for me?
From March 1st to March 14th, complete and turn in a bracket with your predictions for the winning title. Those brackets that more accurately predict the voting results (occurring throughout the month) are eligible to win prizes! You can pick up a bracket at the library or download and print one at home. Return it to the library with your name and contact information to be eligible to win the grand prize for correct prediction.
And voting?
Round one voting begins March 15th (after all brackets are turned in) and can be done online or via a paper ballot in the library.
Subsequent voting rounds will be released each week – keep up using our Facebook or visit the library!

April 1st – April 4th > Round four voting period. Vote in the library or here.
April 5th, 6th, and 7th > Round five voting period (final four, and championship.) Vote in the library or here.

Visit our Brackify online bracket for a fun interactive voting platform. The website won’t track the picks you make a prediction bracket and so it cannot be used to be eligible for the grand prize, but it’s a fun tool for voting. We invite you to try it out!
